The Cornell Climate Smart Farming Program was established by the Cornell Institute for Climate Smart Solutions in 2015. The Program is specifically designed to help farmers in New York and the Northeast: (1) sustainably increase agricultural productivity to contribute to global food security; (2) build resilience to extreme weather and climate change/variability through best management practices; and (3) reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase energy efficiency.

The comprehensive Climate Smart Farming Website provides a comprehensive portal for online decision-support tools, resources and Extension support to help farmers and decision makers.
